ReSound! is a mixed-adult choral ensemble dedicated to singing sacred music from an ecumenical perspective, of all styles, including renaissance, classical, spiritual, gospel, jazz, folk, rock, and blues. ReSound! is comprised of 16 professional and semi-professional musicians, providing a forum for promoting public awareness of, and interest in, the understanding of different cultures and faiths through original sacred works. Aware of our roots, we often perform music by Manitoba and Canadian choral composers, past, present and future and promote local musicians, singers, dancers, and other performing artists. ReSound! is beginning to develop an active music commissioning program for new composers, and is involved in charitable and community activities in keeping with their mission.
